Hannah and Sam’s love story started in their school yard during grade 6. Hannah mentioned that she had a crush on Sam from the moment she saw his cute curly hair…. that is until one fateful day, when Sam forgot to bring the coloured pencils to their school project and their young love was quickly over.
Fast forward to high school and these two sweet hearts reconnected, this time a friendship blossomed and continued to grow until after they had graduated. Sometime after graduating school, Sam decided to take Hannah on a sunset sailing date, and after years of being in the friend zone Hannah decided that maybe she could forgive Sam for those forgotten coloured pencils after all.
Like all good love stories that start with junior school friendships and forgotten coloured pencils, these two were sure to become forever. And that’s exactly what happened six years after that sailing date, when Hannah and Sam decided to tie the knot amongst the sailboats at Pier 33.
These two spent their wedding day amongst the water and sailboats, much like the afternoon that they decided that it was time to leave the friendzone. The flowers were as vibrant and colourful as the pencils that Sam had forgotten, it was a real life nautical fairytale.
Just when the day couldn’t get any more romantic, Hannah and Sam sailed off into the night as Husband and Wife. Yup - they left their reception in a boat, because what better way to begin forever right?!
